He started running a little fever on Tuesday morning, so I gave him something to bring it down.
Fast forward to Tuesday evening and
BAM!
Fever of 105.7
!!!!!!!!!!!
Needless to say, we all sprung into action and threw ourselves in the car to make the 2 hour drive to our children's hospital.
Little buddy felt awful!
After a few tests, it was determined that Sam David had a pretty nasty UTI.
Nothing new to him, since this is one of the downfalls to spina bifida.
But, obviously this was a tough one!
He ended up being admitted in order to receive some IV antibiotics and monitor his high fevers.
Once the medicine kicked in and started doing its job, well....Sam David was back to his old, busy-body self!
So thankful to have our little buddy back!
