THE Snow of 2013

I can rightfully give this post the title it deserves.

You see, here in the beautiful south, we typically do not see much of the white stuff when winter rolls around.

In fact, a snow like this usually only makes an appearance every 3-4 years or so.

So, when we wake up to this:

So, please excuse me while I indulge in this opportunity to record some memories that were made at our home a couple of weeks ago.

Long Time...No Blogging

It's true. I have not made time lately to sit down and update our little neglected blog.

Time flies when you're having fun, right?

Well.....we will just stick with that!

Seeing how we have 3 birthdays, one Gotcha Day and Christmas all within about 4 weeks....well, you get the picture!

I'll start with Bennett's Birthday!

He turned 10 YEARS OLD just 2 days after Christmas!

Two Full Hands Now!

Bennett wanted to go bowling with the family for his birthday party this year, so that is exactly what we did!

Bennett is doing great with school, especially with science! That is definitely his favorite, most likely due to the many fun science experiments.
Cubscouts keeps Bennett busy and he just joined a robotics team that meets weekly.
Legos, Star Wars, and anything scientific are still his favorite!

.........................................................................................

Then, we quietly welcomed the new year. I don't think any of us were actually awake to ring in the new year at midnight, but that's just how we roll.

Just 5 days into the new year, we celebrated Sam David's 5th birthday!

I do not think that I have ever seen someone so excited about a birthday.

He was counting down the days and just loved finally having a turn for HIS BIRTHDAY!

Just the day after Sam David's birthday, Abby & I made the loooooong drive to Orlando.

She has the incredible opportunity to participate in Disney's College Program this semester.

After getting her settled into her apartment, I flew home.

I had to get home to take Maylee to her annual Urology appointment to have a video urodynamics study done.

Well, we were supposed to have the test done. But, she had a UTI. So, we are working to get that cleared up and hope to be able to schedule another test in the next few weeks.

That's about where we are right now.

WHEW!

Now that this little neglected blog is updated for the time being, I am off to head into the nasty rainy, cold, icy weather to take our goats into their shelter. Fun, Fun!

Until next time....
